We’d like to offer a big “Hello” to two new members to the TAK! massive.

Joining us from Sweden is Chris Lind. Chris is a graduate of Hyper Island and will be busting some fresh skills focussing on Flash and digital design.

Jenny Prescott is from a bit closer to home and is hired as studio manager. Jenny will be overseeing all work passing through TAK! as well as focussing on client services and new business.

I meant to post this up ages ago but I somehow never got round to it. Ryan Waller self publishes this fantastic magazine, The New College Beat. Larger than I expected everything is right about it, the size, the stock and the design are all spot on.

Jenny Mortsell grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, and as a kid filled drawing pad after drawing pad with mostly horses, boys and shoes.

Continuing the week of Brighton based graduates, Jenny Cobden and Will Perrens both graduated the Graphic Design course in 2006 and 2005 respectively. Better known now at At Work their portfolio contains books, publications, identities, posters, typefaces, short films and websites.

Pictured is part of ‘A Bunch of Idioms’, a three day typographic workshop based around idioms within the English language.

The weather shows no sign of letting up so here is the ‘start of summer’ image from London based illustrator Jenny Bull. A graduate of Kingston University, this image is taken from the ‘Scrap Happy’ limited edition book.
