DPTV went down to Battersea to check out the launch night of Doodle Bar. The bar has been completely whitewashed and punters are armed with maker pens and chalk and given the freedom to draw anywhere and everywhere. The idea came from Serge Seidlitz and Jules Cocke of Squint Opera.

I recently tweeted about a Swedish invasion, and to continue in this theme I give you Cheap Monday’s visual aids.

The Swedish company have thrown out a range of peeper guards that all come in under $40 and feature the below and splendid Night Porter mimicking the all-so-desirable Ray-Ban clubmasters. I suggest rest these on that nose, enjoy the freedom that covering up half of that mess you call a face brings and pitch a ball.

I really don’t like the idea of keeping birds for pets as I feel it curbs their freedom to soar the skies. What I do like is the idea of installing birdfeeders instead, this way you can enjoy the scene from afar when an unassuming robin partakes the grains you have left for it. OKKO is as versatile as a birdfeeder can get coz it can either be hung from the ceiling in a balcony (if you have such luxury) or be placed on a post in the garden.
