I fail at managing laundry. I have way too many clothes. When I am ready to wash, it’s an all day affair dragging heavy baskets to and from the washer/dryer. I’m not saying I’m too busy or lazy. I just want a simpler solution and I think designer Guopeng Liang is on to something with his iBasket concept.

Lo-fi pamphleteers Social Commontating are a design collective putting out intriguing observations in the form of minimal zine-esque publications. Politics, wit and fineliners.

I have seen these TUKAANI eating devices by Lincoln Kayiwa on a number of sites, but they are definitely worth posting because, well, we’re a blog about good design and these certainly represent that. TUKAANI is Finnish for the toucan bird species, and the design was inspired by a Toucan’s bill.

Some charming, mainly lo-fi motion work, from Feel Good Anyway.

Yes yes I know we’ve all seen these lo-fi, dress in black to make the impossible possible films before, but this one’s a treat.
I especially love the celebration at the end when it’s all finished, pure elation.

We are super proud to announce the opening of Speakerdog’s freshest exhibition ‘Step Into Our World’ at the Here & Now Gallery, Falmouth, Cornwall on Monday 2nd June!

Great animation from Geoff McFetridge, beautifully championing the lo-fi once again – has he ever done a bad piece of work?
Lovely song too.
