The Save Water Brick design is really unique; the brick is a mixture of discarded plastic bottles and dried rotting leaves molded into bricks. There are funnels within the brick to channelize the rain water to nearby plants or underground tanks. So the basic idea is that it collects rainwater for consumption. Obviously the bricks are intended for external walls so that they can absorb the water, but the question is will they be strong enough to endure the elements?

Statistics in books make me just totally fall asleep. What this projects aims to do is to add another page to the three dimensional world of awareness. “What if this kind of information crawled off the page and seeped into the products that surround us?” That’s what Nadeem Haidary aims to explore. The first image you’ll see is of a fork whose prongs each represent the calories each capita consumes. Frightening?

Dishwashing techniques are undergoing massive consideration for two factors, one the size and placement of the dishwashers and two, the consumption of energy and water. The Eco-Friendly Steam Dishwasher addresses both these issues in quite a fascinating way. As for the size and placement, it’s a counter-top version good enough for a small family or singletons. So no more bending to load the wash. For the Eco-friendly part hit the link.

We are in a state of perpetual war – with ourselves and with the eco-system that sustains us. Perpetual war breeds perpetual fear. In the present context, this fear stems from our extreme desire for authenticity and manifests itself in our collectively insatiable culture of consumption.

The Rehydr8 is an eco-friendly water filter and chiller system that was designed to discourage the consumption of disposable water bottles and promote filtered tap water. The chiller uses the innovative technology of thermoacoustic refrigeration, using sound waves to create pressure and environmentally friendly gases to create a cool surrounding temperature. And YES this concept was actually thought out.

I salute all mothers across the world because baby rearing ain’t easy. There’s about a 10 year gap between me and my sister so when she was a baby, I had to prepare her baby formula. It took some trial and error to find the right temp but my life (and hers) would have ben so much easier if we had this Baby’s Bottle.

The graphics are printed with thermochromic anti-forgery ink and change to show you it’s just at the right temperature for consumption. Ever accidentally give a baby hot milk? It IS NOT fun and the universe should totally outlaw it.
