Saw this on the roof of NY Metropolitan Museum today - I've seen it on blogs earlier, but it was really amazing to see it IRL. Jeff Koons is playing with our perception of material and weight by making giant sculptures in solid steel look like they can be blown of the roof by a small wind.
I didn't think much of one of the pieces before my girlfriend made me realise it was NOT transparent and it too was made of steel. Really awsome works, and even though it was only 3 pieces, it blew the hell out of the previously blogged exhibition. We sat there for an hour or two and enjoyed the view and a cold beer.
